There's less than 3 months until Christmas!!
You might want to start thinking about family photos for your Christmas cards!! It's not too soon!!
Every year John & I do up a goofy family photo with our cat to send out to our families. If you don't have a family photo tradition yet, we're ready to help start that for you! Christmas is a time of family, tradition, joy and love. What better way than to share that expression than with a family photo.
Think about it! (And please do contact us!)

It's the last day of summer!!
I got a quick session in to wrap up the summer. And what a fun session it was! Kids are so fun, so unpredictable, and a fun challenge!
I'm thinking I'll have to add this to the gallery on my website. Her pose was naturally done by her. Love her attitude!
He wasn't as camera shy as his older sister, but he also wasn't interested in the whole ordeal. This is one of my favorite shots that I got of him.
There's a few more that I should share, but I'll have to keep this blog short for the time being.
Enjoy the last day of summer, and welcome beautiful fall colors!!

My long over-due September post (I've been published!!)
I have a photo that's in a magazine!!!!
It's in Our Lives, Madison's LGBT&XYZ magazine.
I am giddy, thankful, and just so darn happy that I got this opportunity. A zillion thanks to Patrick from Our Lives for contacting me! Be sure and catch the next issue that will have another photo from me in the same section.
If you are on facebook you can become a fan of Our Lives.
And while you're logged onto facebook don't forget to
become a fan of BiG Red Photography too!
Picking up a couple copies of Our Lives was probabaly the most exciting thing I've done all September. Other than that I am soaking up as much sun as possible before daylight becomes sparse.
It's odd how this is the best time of the year, yet it's the sad to me because I know what's around the corner. Cold. John and I took a little road trip to Kohler Andrae State Park last weekend to say our goodbyes to summer. We hiked through sand dunes, got a touch of sun burn, jumped into Lake Michigan (it was cold!) and parted with the season.
So long summer!
